Red bar lights

How to choose a machine vision bar light

Bar lights are the flexible building block of a vision station: aim one at an angle for dark-field effects, pair two for even side lighting, or use a four-bar square for a large-area ring. Red light gives strong contrast on mono cameras, which are most sensitive in the red, and is the usual choice for general inspection, code reading and dark features on light parts.
