Blue bar lights

How to choose a machine vision bar light

Bar lights are the flexible building block of a vision station: aim one at an angle for dark-field effects, pair two for even side lighting, or use a four-bar square for a large-area ring. Blue light has a short wavelength that brings out fine surface detail and scratches on shiny metal, and contrasts well against red, orange and yellow features.
