Coordinate the flash with the camera
Strobe lighting selection combines optical geometry with electrical and timing requirements. The ring must illuminate the required field while the controller operates within the selected light specifications. Check the complete timing chain from trigger source to camera exposure and light pulse before choosing a system.
- Confirm the rated supply, drive method, pulse duration and duty cycle for the exact model. Do not infer an overdrive current from another light in the range.
- Match the camera exposure and trigger arrangement with the controller input, output and channel requirements, including connector and wiring details.
- Check the ring opening, working distance and colour on the moving part, then verify the required image detail and repeatability at the intended production rate.
