Use the drawing to plan a compact backlight
The catalog class helps identify a compact backlight approach, but the selected model dimensions determine whether it fits. Consider the illuminated field and the mechanical installation together. A small body depth does not by itself establish the field uniformity, brightness or working-distance performance.
- Use the printed emitting area for optical coverage and the body outline for mechanical clearance. Check any non-illuminated border, mounting tab and cable exit.
- Compare illumination colour and output with the part transmission and camera exposure, and evaluate the complete field rather than only the panel center.
- Confirm the mounting surface, supply and controller arrangement, including space for connectors and strain relief behind or beside the panel.
