lumaspec-ls-bkl-1446
Flat Backlight, 50 x 30 mm, White, 3.4 W (LS-BKL-1446)

This backlight has a 50 x 30 mm emitting area (3.4 W) (LS-BKL-1446), the second-smallest of the 15 emitting-area sizes in its series. It measures 82 x 43 x 18 mm overall.

It gives at least 6,000 lux at the centre 100 mm away, more if mounted closer. At 82 x 43 x 18 mm and 0.1 kg it is only 18 mm deep: a small bracket holds it, and it adds little load to a moving axis. Rated 0 to 40 °C, it suits a normal factory floor; keep it out of hot cabinets.

Features

Rated 3.4 W (about 142 mA at 24 V)

The 30 x 30 mm version is one step down in this series

1 m lead ending in the SMR-03 V-B plug: keep the controller within about 1 m or add an extension cable

High-density array LED design, and provides excellent lighting uniformity

Side mounting lugs

Back-lights a camera field: parts inside it show as sharp dark outlines

Applications

Silhouette gauging of parts up to about 50 x 30 mm (its 50 x 30 mm emitting area dimension; the outline must fall inside it)

Workpiece size and outline measurement

Product position detection

Flaw detection on transparent objects

Specifications

Model

LS-BKL-1446

Color

White

Center illuminance/irradiance

≥ 6000 lux @ 100 mm

Color temperature

6000 ~ 7000K

Power

3.4 W

Input voltage

24 VDC

Connector type

SMR-03V-B

Dimension

82 mm × 43 mm × 18 mm

Emitting area dimension

50 mm × 30 mm

Weight

0.1 kg

Cable length

1 m

Cooling mode

Natural cooling

Temperature

Working temperature: 0 °C to 40 °C (32 °F to 104 °F); Storage temperature: –20 °C to 60 °C (–4 °F to 140 °F)

Humidity

20% RH to 90% RH (no condensation)

Diffuse plate included

Included

Shipping weight (estimated)

0.24 kg

The relative illuminance curve in the gallery is the series' white-light reference, as printed on its datasheet; the size measured is not stated.
